Unshaming Facilitator and Somatic Coach

Your soma (body) is wise

The language of our bodies is sensation– the whispers of tingles down an arm, tension in the neck, expansion in the chest, pings of pain, a long sigh.

I create space to become more fluent in the dialect of your sensations and experiences. When you learn to lovingly witness what the body is showing you, the way you see your identity shifts. The way you show up as a partner or friend transforms. The path of your life dreams will become clear. The relationship with your children or your own inner child will unfurl. And creativity will flow.

We live in a culture that ignores and even dismisses our inner worlds-our feelings, our gifts, our weaknesses, our deeper longings. When we allow these experiences to be lovingly witnessed, we are more free to unfold into our authentic selves.

Introducing people to parts of themselves they didn’t know before is the most wonderous part of this work and why I love what I do.

“Shame hates it when we reach out and tell our story. It hates having words wrapped around it—it can’t survive being shared. Shame loves secrecy.”

-Brené Brown (shame researcher and storyteller)

Hi, I’m Erin (she/her)

I became a coach because I know what it’s like to feel the grips of shame- the feeling of being alone in a stuck place. In my teens and college years, acne and scarring on my face left me with that stuck feeling and wanting to hide every time I looked in the mirror. Postpartum depression, in my late 20’s, stung me with that stuck feeling after having a colicy baby. I “you-tubed” my way into realizing I probably have a neurospicy brain. This explained why my crying baby, so many years ago, triggered an excruciating pain in my nervous system.

It was in a coaching space that I felt empowered to connect with my body and emotions and learned how to listen to what I needed. I was shown a roadmap out of the stuck places and I want to help you discover your own map.

In January 2022 my journey began as a somatic coach. It is my passion and offering to the world, to create a space for people to explore their dreams and see themselves through a lens of love.
